We’re currently looking for a Member Engagement Manager on a full time, 6-month fixed term contract basis.
Our members value their membership more when they are engaged with us, so you’ll play a pivotal role in this by providing a blend of opportunities which in turn allows us to understand and support our members better.
The job
- Working with members to gain insights into issues affecting businesses in the regions, including sector, employment and career progression
- Developing and overseeing content and communications that promotes sector-specific and regional information and supports members and their businesses
- Identifying and analysing the impact of insights and data to develop and deliver effective planning and awareness campaigns across different member engagement projects
- Establishing new and maintaining existing links with partner organisations with the view to using their skills and experiences to support building ACCA’s reputation and influence
- Providing guidance to colleagues in other teams who need to interact with members working in the regions e.g. cross-departmental projects, sourcing members for case studies/interviews and to represent ACCA in meetings with partners and other external agencies
The person
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience of building relationships and communities to generate insights that feed into thought leadership and marketing requirements
- Experience of developing and delivering digital engagement plans (e.g. webinars) - desirable not essential
- Experience of working with and managing volunteers
- A proactive and innovative approach to finding solutions to the support needs of members and affiliates
- Strong organisational skills to deal with a wide variety of tasks, projects and issues simultaneously whilst working to deadlines
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to build and manage relationships
