I am delighted to bring you a brand new opportunity to join our Professional Education team in London and play a key part in ensuring we are delivering to the expectations of our external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Professional Education Content Lead, the role holder will be responsible for the administrative and operational support requirements of the Professional Education Solutions team in the development and delivery of educational content and support resources, including ACCA-X (

The role holder will ensure that content processes are progressing on track and delivered to external stakeholder expectations.

These processes include:

  • Supporting content updates on the ACCA-X platform
  • Facilitating the annual review of ACCA Recognised Content
  • Facilitating the annual review of ACCA Approved Teaching Resources
  • Tracking of royalty payments and raising of invoices relating to the ACCA Approved Content Programme
  • Supporting content updates on the ACCA Practice Platform
  • Administration associated with the updating of ACCA Train the Trainer content
  • Administration associated with the production of ACCA study and revision guidance
  • Assisting with the administration of author contracts and licensing contracts

Key Responsibilities:


Implement course content updates to the ACCA-X platform, in conjunction with the Professional Education Digital Learning Lead and Community Lead.

Recognised content reviews

Lead the coordination of the annual review process for ACCA Recognised Content, working closely with the ACCA Markets teams, to ensure that the syllabus and QA spreadsheets are available from the examining team and sent to the authors in a timely manner to update their study materials; liaising with authors for copy submission; liaising with the examining team and authors throughout the review process; and managing the invoicing and Purchase Order (PO) processes for recognised content providers and examiners respectively.

Approved Teaching Resources 

Work with the Professional Education Content Lead to manage the annual review process for Approved Teaching Resources, in particular the bi-annual review of mock exams, including liaising with ACCA’s Approved Content Providers for the submission of mock exams; commissioning reviewers; overseeing a timely review process; and PO processing.

Content IP license fees

Liaising with Learning Partners for periodic reports in respect of content licensed from ACCA and ensuring that licensees are invoiced on a timely basis.

ACCA Practice Platform content updates

Work with the Professional Education Content Lead to manage the annual update process by external subject matter experts of exams available on the ACCA Practice Platform.

Author/Freelancer Contracts

Assist the Professional Education Content Lead with the administration of author/ freelancer contracts to ensure that we have appropriate contracts in place for BAU work and that new authors/freelancers are set up on ACCA’s supplier system.  

Train the trainer and other support materials

Provide administrative support to the Professional Education Content Lead for the update and development of student and tutor support material from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent
  • An understanding of the accounting profession would be an advantage
  • Demonstrable experience in co-ordinating BAU processes and tracking deliverables to meet delivery schedules
  • Experience working with stakeholders and understanding stakeholder needs
  • Experience of building strong relationships with colleagues and external contracts and suppliers
  • A desire to develop new skills and gain experience in Professional Education support
  • Highly motivated, and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on own initiative.

Additional Information:

  • The role will be based in London
  • Involves flexible working hours or overtime (including occasional evening and weekend working) depending on activities undertaken
  • Travel across the UK is occasionally required for this role including overnight stays away from home.
