We’re currently looking for a London-based Learning & Development Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

Joining our newly formed Culture & Engagement team (part of the People Directorate), you’ll work closely with key stakeholders across ACCA’s diverse global network to develop, deliver and evaluate a range of first-class L&D solutions, supporting the new strategy to 2025.


The Job

On a day to day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Partnering with business stakeholders and HRBPs to conduct learning needs analysis, test products in development, ensure the smooth rollout of L&D interventions, and evaluate impact
  • Designing and developing ACCA’s global L&D portfolio – aligned to our skill and behaviour frameworks – using a variety of methods including virtual webinars, face-to-face training, digitally enabled learning modules, learning communities and coaching
  • Curating and quality controlling supplier content provision to maximise ROI
  • Delivery of selected L&D interventions, often in partnership with third party suppliers and internal learning networks
  • Budgetary and operational management of the ACCA learning portfolio, ensuring colleagues across our global network have access to best in class, digitally enabled and on-demand learning resources via our LMS
  • Project & programme management of strategic L&D initiatives to ensure cost-effective, relevant and timely L&D solution development


The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is educated to degree level – a professional qualification i.e. CIPD, Level A&B and/or coaching is desirable
  • Has proven experience of planning, designing, sourcing and delivering L&D in a globally dispersed business
  • Has proven experience and passion for L&D design & development, including using digital learning software, with evidence of strong business impact
  • Has experience working with an LMS (ideally Workday and Cornerstone)
  • Has budget management experience including forecasting, variance and quarterly reporting
  • Can demonstrate expertise in building relationships, influencing stakeholders to gain buy-in and is seen as a trusted advisor
