We’re currently looking for an Administration Officer on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Adjudication team, based in our London office.

The Adjudication team is responsible for the organisation of ACCA committee hearings; a vital aspect of the regulation and discipline of ACCA members and students.

 

The Job

Your primary focus as Administration Officer will be to assist with the administration within the Adjudication team and ensure the smooth running of the department and ACCA committee hearings.  Working within a team of 2 other Administration Officers, reporting into the Operations Manager, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • liaising with ACCA panel members and chairmen who attend hearings with regards to their travel and expenses
  • raising purchase orders for the department
  • maintaining spreadsheets to track expenditure
  • arranging departmental meetings
  • arranging the logistical aspects of committee hearings such as booking venues and catering and assisting with scheduling of hearings
  • updating the ACCA website with publicity arising from hearings
  • liaising with finance in the recovery of fines and costs sanctioned on members and students who have been subject to an ACCA committee hearing
  • reviewing and co-ordinating the deletion of archived files to ensure GDPR compliance

 

The Person

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience working within an office administration role in a professional environment
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills with an ability to work effectively within a team of professional staff
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and prioritise multiple demands at the same time
  • Strong Excel skills for use in management information and collation of data, desirable
  • Previous experience of data inputting with very strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of working within a KPI/target driven environment - desirable
  • Previous experience of uploading and editing website content via CRM system - desirable
