I am delighted to bring an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in Ukraine as a Member and Engagement Manager on a permanent basis.

The role is responsible for increasing the value of membership of ACCA and members’ loyalty, build network of talented members of ACCA, contribute to increased member conversion and retention, develop the plan and be responsible for organising external activities and events for ACCA in line with ACCA commitment to life-long learning; strengthen ‘ACCA’ brand and reputation in professional financial community, develop relationships with state bodies and self-regulated organisation and promote ACCA as a thought leader; managing special market projects when necessary.

This role is tasked with ensuring ACCA Ukraine and Caucasus States alignment with corporate policies and executing a range of events, member and student communications and professional networking events. This role is also responsible for overseeing public relations, social media, and identifying and developing online and digital channels for ACCA promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

 With respect to Members of ACCA the Employee is obliged to deliver:

  • High quality and extensive range of continuing professional development events, social and networking events
  • Improved members’ networks and membership facilities
  • Improved conversion rates
  • Preparing newsletters for members, students, employers
  • Preparing and execute SMS and email campaigns
  • Improved members’ networks and membership facilities
  • Developing, managing, execution of PR strategy
  • Improved retention rate
  • Developing digital promotional campaigns
  • Improved member satisfaction of services quality.

With respect to communication in professional community and with state bodies or self-regulated organisations the Employee must deliver:

  • ‘ACCA’ brand awareness in professional community through participating in key professional events (conferences, roundtables, etc.)
  • Improved relationships with key stakeholders
  • High quality management of special projects on local level
  • Managing the work of PR agency – leading, budgeting, monitoring of the performance. 

To increase membership value and engagement by performing the following activities:

  • Prepare annual plans and budgets for members services for review and approval by the National Office Head, to execute other necessary plans and budgets
  • Analyse members’ needs and requirements, communicate regularly with local members to seek their comments and suggestions to improve member services
  • Make surveys among members to find out the most popular topics of seminars/workshops
  • Organise CPD (Continuing Professional Development) seminars and webinars, network meetings, graduation ceremonies, roundtables, ‘ACCA’ career fairs for members, high profile events and ad-hoc engagements as and when necessary
  • Identify ACCA’s Ambassadors, build strong network and engage them into activities of the Company and its clients (customers), publications, master classes at Universities and student communities etc.
  • Compile and circulate local newsletter among members
  • Identify information related to members needed for publishing in internal and external resources; organise publishing
  • Coordinate members and affiliates local database update
  • To coordinate members and affiliates retention campaigns
  • Coordinate conversion campaigns
  • Drives sales campaigns through digital marketing activity.

To build relationships with key stakeholders in statutory and self-regulated bodies by performing the following activities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing relevant information about ACCA
  • Promote and adapt professional insights reports for the region needs
  • Support National Office Head to seek new market opportunities, to work toward recognition of ACCA at national level and/or different forms of cooperation with statutory and self-regulated bodies (e.g. accreditation, recognition) which is appropriate.

To build ‘ACCA’ brand and reputation in professional community by performing the following activities:

  • Organise high profile open events for professional community (inviting persons who are not ACCA members)
  • Select high profile external professional events where ACCA could participate and present its thought leadership
  • Participate actively in those events and make presentations about ACCA if necessary, building strong network with key experts and decision makers
  • Support National Office Head in market activities for launch of new project/s.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    Education

    • Higher education
    • Fluent English, Ukrainian, Russian

    Skills and experience

    • Experience  3+ years in big international companies
    • Past experience in Chambers of Commerce is a plus
    • Copy-writing skills
    • Project management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-motivated, proactive and resourceful, with the ability to multi-task
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
    • Enthusiasm and result-oriented.
