We’re currently looking for a Business Development Manager - Employers on a full time, fixed term contract until the end of March 2019. This position is based in London and sits within the UK Sales team, playing an essential role in ensuring recruitment, conversion and retention of ACCA students through to membership by developing commercially focused business relationships with Employers in the UK. 

 

The Job

On a day to day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Managing a number of employer relationships in the UK, with the objective of developing mutual partnerships that lead to preference for the ACCA.
  • Creating and delivering on employer account plans designed to build multi-level relationships aimed at supporting UK employers build effective finance and accounting teams
  • Delivering on objectives to grow student recruitment levels, supporting student through the qualification, and supporting ACCA members through effective use of CPD and ACCA’s Thought Leadership programme
  • Developing a network of Employers in the UK ensuring that outstanding service and support is given
  • Promoting and communicating to Employers, changes or updates to the ACCA qualification, new products and assessments and supporting them in the adoption of them
  • Regularly reporting on progress against agreed targets through the appropriate reporting mechanisms

 

The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is educated to at least degree level or equivalent
  • Has proven experience in business development, key account management and B2B selling, ideally in a professional service based environment
  • Has knowledge of sales, business development frameworks, processes and techniques
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term, high quality, trusted relationships up to, and including, board level
  • Is a proven networker and prospector at all levels
  • Has an awareness and understanding of accountancy, education and career related issues
